Peering Forum MSK-IX 2018
The 14th Peering Forum MSK-IX kicked off on November 23 at the International Trade Center. This year over 1,000 people registered for the forum, setting a new record.
MSK-IX General Director Yelena Voronina opened the forum. In her welcoming remarks she said: «Telecom companies are moving more intoIT services; there are only a few remaining communications operators. We support this trend. MSK-IX’s task is to support companies in their efforts to provide fast and high quality data transfer services. Everybody needs connectivity. In an era of the Internet of Things and big data, it’s strange to manage your tea kettle via other countries.»
